Is your notebook's display real dim or completely black? You feel the computer is booting, but the display doesn't come on? Perhaps your LCD backlight has burned out.

An easy way to tell is to connect an external monitor to your computer and see if the notebook powers that monitor. If so, all you need is to replace a tiny bulb, known as the LCD Backlight.

The bulb might be tiny and inexpensive, but the labor to install is not! Please call us for an estimate. We also recommend that when we have the computer all opened up (see picture below), the customer also replace the Backlight inverter.

We can replace the backlight on following models of notebooks in Birmingham. Your computer will NOT be sent anywhere. If we have the parts, we can replace the backlights the within the same day!
